Kuala Lumpur, 7 October 2024 – The Institute of Strategic Analysis and Policy Research (INSAP) objects to any suggestions for the introduction of inheritance tax in the upcoming 2025 budget. This is in response to a recent article which pointed out that the Malaysian government may introduce a new inheritance tax as one of the additional sources of tax revenue.
